The Holiday Shows are the UK’s premier Holiday & Travel events
Attracting more than 101,000* independent, discerning, affluent and passionate travellers across both the Manchester and Glasgow Shows.

The audience profile is broken down as follows: Affluent individuals - with 70% falling into the ABC1 socio-economic profile
- Big holiday spenders - with 73% investing on average £2,500 per year on holidays
- Regular travellers - with the average visitor taking between 2 and 3 holidays a year
- Customers in the prime of their lives - with 88% aged between 33 and 60 years of age
The core group can be broken down into two sub sections. These include the under 35 and over 50 groups.
The under 35’s are generally affluent professionals who love to travel and explore new areas of the world. They are independent, discerning and adventurous and while travelling they enjoy the variety of food and drink and activities destinations have to offer.
Although they tend to take a number of short breaks over the year (2-4 breaks a year), they also enjoy a main holiday in the UK or abroad where they have fun and relax whether on a beach, adventure or mixing with friends.
The 55 plus visitor is either retired or is making plans for their retirement. Normally the children will have left home and they will be enjoying a period of “me time” with a partner.
They tend to have been responsible savers who have a disposable income that allows them to afford luxuries in life including travel and holiday property.
They are generally fit and active and enjoy golf, tennis, gardening, walking, galleries/museums, theatre and wine. Including short breaks - for culture, relaxation or golf – they take between 4-7 holidays a year and many are researching a dream holiday to celebrate their retirement such as long haul, safari and cruises.
